BE THE BAD GUY

Only-Super is a world in which gods masquerade in mortal flesh. Most metahumans develop relatively minor abilities, to telekinetically manipulate small objects or enhanced senses. A fraction of that population develop abilities that defy human understanding of the Universe, able to lift cars or atomise matter. An even tinier fraction, so small a percentage as to be non-existent, develop abilities that put them on a par with the deities of ancient myth, functionally immortal or able to end life on a massive scale.

As the site plot begins to advance we would like to open up the opportunity for members to play some of these roles. These are metahumans that change the course of history just by existing. These roles will primarily be the parts of villains. Every comic book has their classic villain, a figure of immense power that eventually the Hero only triumph's over thanks to luck and sheer determination.

These metahumans could be driven by many different motives, from a short-term desire for wealth, to a desire to set themselves up as the ruler of their own kingdom. These metahumans will be beyond the power level typically allowed on site and will come with a number of strings attached.

Firstly, any playing of them will come under increased scrutiny from site staff, these roles come with a lot of responsibility.
Secondly, these roles have a limited life expectancy, at the end of the arc these characters are a part of the character will die, be imprisoned indefinitely or otherwise removed from play. When you take one of these roles you must be prepared to say goodbye.
Thirdly, these roles will be extremely limited per arc.
Finally, these roles will be available only through a strict auditions process. We will post an opening for one of these characters on the site and announce it on the site Discord. Then there will be a short period of time for writers to submit their audition pieces.

This audition will come in two parts, firstly a short-form app (these characters are ultimately designed to come to an end), and secondly a PM to this moderator account with your arc idea.

At the end of the auditions process we will be selecting two villains from the pool, one to be the overarching 'big bad' and the runner up will take the place of their lieutenant.
